Queensland households and small businesses that install a solar system are able to receive a benefit under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES) to help with the purchase cost.
Installing an eligible system allows the creation of Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) with a value that can be redeemed by selling these yourself or assigning them to the installing company. We have made this process simple for our customers by simply signing an e-document on the day of installation.
Your solar quote will include the STC rebate as an upfront discount so you don't have to pay the full price of a solar system.
